Environment Agency framework placing
Trant Engineering has been placed on the Environment Agency's approved National Pump and Panel Framework list.
The agreement means the Southampton-based company can tender in connection with the replacement of a range of pumps and motor control centres (MCCs) at pumping stations across the country.
Such is the commitment to the environment, a number of pumps will need to be fish and eel friendly in order to meet new EU regulative standards.
Environment Agency pumping stations include sites at Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire, Cumbria and Lancashire, Yorkshire, Northumberland, Durham and Tees, with the potential for the framework to extend nationally.
